Hi,
i am a super beginner...
I have tried to save an avi video of my first camera project in Cinema 4D, but the only way i could was to get the preview file and rename. Is this the only way or exists a better one?
Thanks

Hi there...

there are a whole bunch of render settings for you to work with in order to output a proper render rather than a preview render.

to the right of the preview icon 3rd along is a settings icon. This opens up a window where you can select whatever kind of output you want.

quicktime, avi, tiff etc it's all there. just choose a place to save the file.

hope this helps..

First, please forget about my english writing, because I'm french.
Next, pictures are better than speaking :

1 - Render Settings

2- Set the rendering

3- Don't forget to define the range values of the animation

I highly recommend you, to render frame by frame in TGA or Tiff, not in quicktime movie or avi, so you can re-render when you want !

ok, ok...
I did all this thing but...
I haven't found the option "Save as" or similar to save an avi file.
So i use all this settings, then i create an high-quality preview and then i rename that file. But i guess it's not the right way.
Interesting the idea of saving as tiff to re-render each photogram.
