Friend of mine just fw'ed me to this site. Great to see Matte Painting get its own forum.

I got the both Dusso dvds and am very happy with the content. I do wish he went into greater detail, and that the quality of the video was better. Its hard to see exactly what he's selecting within Photoshop. Its great just watching him paint and get a sense in how he works. Very talented Matte Artist.

I also rushed to buy both DVDs only to find out it's not the how-to DVD for beginners like me, but more geared towards more experience matte painters who can gain a lot just by watching other artist paint.

I wished the Photoshop's tools were discussed in more details, and why the techniques work etc.
