Hi users!
What is the best method to achieve the camera move pull out from the topish angle of the ground and end on the globe in a galaxy.
This kind of camera move usually seen in last shots of mostly commercial and also in MEN IN BLACK 2 .
So plz let me know that what is the best method to do this.
I'm thankfull to u
I usually morph the hell out of it. Or just use aditional ellements like clouds, or debries to cut to another imagine

Hi
Ive done some work like that
its depend on the speed of the camera.
If its slow
This works like "russian doll" you have several matte paintings stack one on each other with masks.
They have different depth value, and you create a camera movement that
"travel" into the stack.
Usually the first part is shooted with a crane which give you the first step.
its important because it gives you natural deformation /speed and ofset.
-u freeze the last frame and import it in a large comp ( ive made a 10 Kp by 10 k the larger the better) complete the uncompleted area with pictures painting 3d whatever. make a mask on the freezed frame in order to blend with the matte.
once its finish scale the matte at 50 %
important: this scale factor may change regarding to the size of your final comp and the size of your matte painting. you have to check in a composition software to see if its not too blurry.
then complete the areas that misses. etc.....
if its a fast move, motion blur is your friend
do some steps and the mb will do the rest
hope that is clear enough..
