Hi Maryam,

I agree, matte painting is very cost effective. But I hear there is a demand and supply issue, which might force effects and film companies to look for other solutions. They say that there aren't many matte painters to begin with, and that good ones are rare. I hope that with more exposure of matte painting, other great painters will become aware of it, and we will grow as a profession. Mattepainting.org is the first really usable platform for us, and will take us in that direction. Very exciting!
