Actually the creator of mattepainting.org is a she and she's not a matte painter yet.
This site is a new site and it needs the supoort of matte painters like you, to keep it up and push it forward.
I hope we can see more of talented artists like you here.

Thank you for creating this terrific site!

I am an instructor at an art school in Phoenix teaching viz efx and Matte Painting to the up and coming.

Your site goes to the top of the "must see" list!

I did a touch of matte work in the lo' analog / photochemical days on "Ice Pirates", "V-The Final Battle", "Dark Room" and a bit on "Tales of the Gold Monkey"

Somewhat simple work, but fun to do! I still love the process and results!

nice to finally see a site about what we do, i hope that people start posting there own work here. you just never know who might be looking, its a nightmare trying to find good matte painters these days.

Hello everybody, my name is Domingo, I am an Fx artist , mostly sculptor, I have done some storyboard and miniatures but I never did a matte painting. Anyway I like painting and I´m a big "aficionado" to matte paintings.

I´m just doing it for fun, but still growing and planing to add more samples.
