Suggestions for increasing resolution/quality of renders
Hi all,
I have a question for any of you 3D Max users out there: How would you go about increaing the resolution/quality of your camera map renders? I'm working with an outfit that's using Max (I've been creating the 2D matte painting, and working with another artist to cam map the PS layers). When I was working at Imageworks, using C4D, I simply increased the resolution of my projection cameras but have no clue how this is done in Max. We're on a tight deadline so please respond ASAP if you have any suggestions. Thanks! |
customize>preferences>viewports tab>configure driver>you'll see two resolution settings, set them to max(1024) and check MipMap Lookup to Nearest and turn on “Match Bitmap Close as Possible"
It might be different with different OpenGL or DirectX drivers, But the settings should be in the same place. you might have to reload MAX too. |
