idea about a monthly competition ...
 

dear all ...

as i saw in many CG forums there is a monthly or weekly competition in all the branches of the industry ... why we do not do something like this here for matte painting? i mean the admins chose a topic every month and make a competition with voting and this stuff ... i think it will make the site more active. specially matte painting is an interesting art.

i hope we an do something like this. and also we need workshops and so many activities here.

i totally agree with you ;)
but i think its very difficult to do, organisation etc.
the workshops would be nice :D

3d Total have a monthly matte painting competition (or did, Im not sure if it is still running that regularly).

This sounds like a great idea :)

I think we can start putting down the ideas and then planning come later...

Just we should start moving :) ... any suggestions?
