Hey guys, what do you think so far .. any comments as yet? Thanks ...

You should update this with the wips from your website. If you are going in a new direction, I would like to see the sky. I like the concept but the composition is too mirrored. My advice would be to make the valley reach deeper to the horizon and remove the symmetry.

Maybe the valley comes in on the left and stretches to the right.

Hey Jeremy,

Thanks for the feedback. You are right it is very mirrored at the moment. I do think however with what I have in mind should be able to work but I will keep that into consideration for sure with my next update.

Also as mentioned, I'm posting my WIP from my site here to show progression of the shot to where it is now. Thanks

Hey guys,

I've been busy with office work so I haven't worked on this mattepainting for some time but now that I have some free time, I wanted to get back working on this, check it out and share your thoughts ... I worked mostly on it today so it still needs alot more work .... Thanks ...

Hi Darvin, cool idea, I like the aerial view.

A few thoughts: right now the concept reads a bit monochromatic and blocky. Compositionally, it's a tad symmetrical, though a strategically chosen overcast sky might help the image move toward a more naturalistic setting. I would suggest blocking in the sky first, reexamining the composition, and then proceeding on.

Hope you have time to see it through, best of luck!

Hey,

I think I'm going to revive this post and finish since I started. I'll post an update soon ...
