I opted to go with an easier speed painting this time. Wasn't much in the mood to paint today, but I insist on building my painting skills, so here we are :)

Nice work recently Jessi, liking the new sketches. Good to see you trying some things with wider colour palettes too rather than just the more monochrome ones earlier in the thread. Keep it up, the improvements are pretty clear.
As one piece of advice, try using bigger brushes. The biggest brush you can get away with, the better :)

Thanks for the feedback, Nick. I definitely feel like I'm progressing nicely, just as long as I keep it up! :) I try to keep my speedies loose, but it seems my mind can't wrap around it...Doesn't stop me from continuing to try; maybe I'll be able to soon!
Cheers!

One observation I have made, though, is that the longer you spend on your pieces, the better they look, your most recent, 2hrs + is really nice, keep building the detail in those pieces mate!
Thanks so much turtle! I am absolutely working on that and will keep at it for years to come! I'd really like to do highly detailed sketches with little time spent....but alas, that will take a lot of time!
Cheers!
