hi all
welcome any crits on this one......partial matte, still quite loose and conceptual though.
started at a workshop run by some guys from weta, challenge was to come up with some ideas for an alternate reality version of "wizard of oz" - im trying to show a passage into another world that is unseen to adults....that my idea at least....
girl is being led there by a mechanised guy called tic toc :-)

Looks Great! You may want to try breaking up the FG wall on the left. It is a little commanding in the composition but does not lend to much. Some plants or broken little carriage or something like that? Maybe a clothes line with tattered clothing hanging down from some of the windows? Is she the central focus as well? Maybe if she is add some stronger light hits to her head or frame her and tic toc in some way that draw more attention to her?

Looks great though like I said.
