Default mystical canyon village - 11-14-2006, 04:32 PM

hi everyone!

i decided to do some stuff for my portfolio, so i started with this one two days ago.

today i did some detail on the distance mountains and starded with a part of the village.

this is what i've got so far.

Hi Sun.The sketch looks very good, but please put some more stuff in the matte, it is still to raw for comments and critics.

Usually at that stage, everything is still in the beginning so there is not much to critic or suggest.

Keep up the good work.

Kind regards,

Ricardo.

yeah, wib, you're right, there is some haze missing...

maybe i add some more foreground elements to, to make it a little bit more intresting.

thanks for your comment...

looks really good...couple things jump out at me though.

First, foreground is quite overwhelming, darken it down a bit to help draw the eye toward the village area.

Second, the water feels way too bright underneath that haze...

Looks nice. Opening the shot more might help. There is too much of not interesting foreground right now.

Keep it up.
cheers

i would resize the mountains in the background and push it to the side that the river "can go his way" .......... 8)
