That is a great shot, Chris. I really like it. Everything is under control. So good !
Every time I see such a work I wonder how much time does it take, I mean for the matte painter only ? :?:

I bought the DVD just to enjoy the beautiful digital work. Ridley knows his business and has made some really good choices on the CGI. I think this movie is somehow a fulfilled VFX film: Not too much and very subtle too. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks again everyone!

Smooth: Indeed, this should be interesting!

Herve: I believe this one took about a month (on and off) till everyone was happy.

Valentin: Yeah Ridley is a great artist with the pen as well, very visual and specific. He does lots of little sketches along the way (Ridleygrams) which helps to minimize the guesswork.

Loki: Thanks Peter, awesome to hear from you! Yep, Blizzard it is. I realize you guys are superbusy over in NZ at the moment- that's always a good thing with much to be anticipated! Is Paul's leaving for England causing a bit of a crunch? Please give my regards to him and Rachael Haupt... hope all is well!
