MATTE PAINTING: THE END OF PARIS -

Hye, here is a new matte, the end of Paris, i used many reference photos to make it and i worked a lot on the lights but i'm not sure about the right position of them and also about the true shadows...

few ref photos/
Hope you like it, and i'm wainting for critics and suggestions and councils to make it better... :P
There needs to be alot more contrast in some places; Look at the arches on the left- in the photo they are low contrast, but compared with the darks you have, it needs to be painted-over a bit.
Also.. It's hard to see all the pics at once, but I imagine it is sort of difficult to tell that it is distinctly Paris, or French for that matter. Perhaps have a flag in there or a piece of the Eiffel.
Thanks for your suggestion, so here is a new udapte, i hope it's better...
But, for the suggestion of Paris, there is the obelisk on the floor, (place de la concorde) and i prefered to use this element instead of the eiffel or others...
Thanks again...
Sorry for the cruddy paintover, kinda strapped for time at the moment.
EDIT: And I suppose I'm just not familiar with Paris then... I have no idea what that obelisk thing is. I just figure the tower was the most international symbol of Paris, kind of like the Statue of Liberty of NYC or the Golden Gate of San Fran, or the Arch of St. Louis. You get the picture =P
