Hello, this is my first post here as well as my first official try at a matte painting. Please feel free to c&c as much as you want.

I modeled the fortress in Silo and the terrain in Carrara. Then brought the whole thing into Photoshop and painted over the fortress and terrain. The sky is a photo that I got from mayang.com. Hope you like it.

Thanks for the comments and critques!! I think I'll go back and see how I might change the rocks from looking to 3D-ish and change the shadows a bit.
