id assume the person and the wall in the 1st one were real and the rest a matte. but somehow im even doubting that the wall is real as well

good stuff. especially the second caught my eye! however on the first one the planets look quite unreal. it looks as if uve just took a map of planet venus and spherized it..
have a look at alyn's Planet "tutorial" http://alyn.deviantart.com ;) cheers!

Thanks a lot, everyone, I really appreciate it.
da_elf- You are right the wall and railing is not real. I modeled and rendered it in Cinema 4D and then did some painting on top of it. Kukin- Thanks! Yeah, it is good to share, but often times I have to wait for projects to be released. Also last year was a hell of a year for me, both good and bad, so I didn't have time to even think about posting. syntik-I respect your opinion, but alyn's planets all have the benefit of being against a dark sky. I was placing mine against a bright blue sky and I didn't want any unreal auras or anything. Think of the moon during the day. And it was an image of the sun... spherizing courtesy of nature:) thanks again everyone.
