Some of these have some potential. The main thing I would suggest is looking adding more atmosphere to make things look different. Other things would be color variations, drag you eyedropper tool around picture and you'll see that there unexpected colors all over the place. Also with those colors you'll that most of them aren't usually that saturated, in reality most things are a bit bland in captured color space on cameras.
Thanks Cliff, I have managed to cut my painting/writing hand on Friday and thus, have not been able to paint at all this weekend :( Once my hand is healed, I will definitely take what you've said and use it in my benefit. Thanks a bunch and I'm sure these will start getting better! :-)
Cheers!

Live hard, die young, and leave a beautiful corpse
This is a quick 2 hour speed painting that I did while sitting in a friend's apartment in Austin, waiting for my power to come back on in Houston due to Hurricane Ike.
The top image was my painted version of the bottom image, that was taken by Karil.
Live hard, die young, and leave a beautiful corpse
It's been a while since I've done a speed painting, unfortunately. I recently moved and have been too busy to paint, but I'm fixing that now! Here's my latest speed painting.
Cheers!
