well guys this is a personal matte painting ,I always wanted to create something whit ice, or in a really cold place, something sci fi, well finally I got inspired and here it is , some of the industrial devices in the foreground are 3d assets , made in 3ds max, rendered using vray whit a simple texture on them, that later I painted and retouched in photoshop whit more detail.

Ver Nice JamesVFX. I think it is really good, but I think the tank on the right and the one next to it in the distance are too similar. Obviously there the same model, but I think if you painted some variation on the one in the distant it would be that much better. Also the furthest mountains look like there cut off at the right. Maybe continue the snow over.

Just an opinion, but other then that I think it is really good.
