Hello folks! I guess I haven't been paying attention but I just found this site. (Hi Max Gabl!) What a great way to see what's going on out there. Lots of realy nice work on this site! I'll be visiting often.

I moved from LA to Bainbridge Island Washington a year and a alf ago so this will be a good way to interact with others that do what I do. Thanks!
Here's a couple samples of my work and a link to my site.

Welcome to

Great site and lots of interesting images …
Amazing oil painting too
And my favorite is the tree house at night.
Do use lots of 3D elements in your matte paintings?
What 3D software do you use?

Great work.

You have a lot of really good work on your site. I especially liked the racing stripes painting. Very well done.

All your work is great. Awsome!

Looking forward to see more work

Lovely work Ron and welcome to the site.

I especially like the snow shots for Drew Carey, I think theyre a good example of that type of painting done well, particularly the Warsaw Tavern shot.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work

Nice work Ron. Saw your stuff for the first time last week in your vfxblog interview. The detail shots are very helpful. Few artists will let you get that close to the illusion. Much appreciated. I'm curious how much of your work uses 3D and what package you use if any?
