Well, it's not a bad start to a piece, however the composition feels too centered. The opening in the cliffs sort of cuts the piece in half right down the middle. Try putting it off center and using the rock outcroppings to help lead the eye through the piece. Right now, the composition is very packed and a little distracting

As for the coloring and lighting. Some of the lighting on your textures doesn't feel right to me. I would practice working on this piece in gray scale, working on your lighting and value without worrying about color. If it looks good in gray scale, then it will look good with color added later
