Hi guys!

I am going to show you a tropical island study I did during my free time this winter :) .

The process was simple, I tried to get a realistic looking island without the use of photos. So I used Vue as a base, rendering multiple passes, like clear sand, textured sand, trees, underwater vegetation, corals etc. and then a lot of painting and color correction on top. Photo reference was used only for the sky and distant sea.

Now let's see the images. I am going to show you the image I worked on, some crops I like and then some steps.

I wouldn't say master :) , but the truth is that I really love to play with Vue renders. I don't like waiting for 24 hours for a perfect render so I prefer doing multiple simple passes and then making everything work together in photoshop.

Wow, that's actually some sort of handprint on a sand, that island.
Fantabulous work, it really is! Great idea, great technique, sky, water, that coral reef.
Want a bungalo in there.
