Hey guys, heres my latest finished project. I hope you are going to like it even its
not classic MP indeed but more illustration kinda stuff.

Originally 3x3k visual used for packaging of american deathcore band The Battle
Within. Brief was to create dark fantasy scene of Styx and Charon whos draging
his victim from river full of undeads and taking him to the other side.

I created initial sketch, than modeler created basic 3D environment according this
sketch (attached below) and than I massively overpainted, matte-painted and
postproduced whole scene, as well all photographed elements.

Basic enviro:

Final result:

Hey guys, here's some update after a while. 3x3k supernatural planet illustration I've made for 9 page tutorial for first issue of DigitalDesign Magazine (ex-.PSDmag).
I wanted to try something new, with more unusual color palette of my artworks. First intentions were to create some dramatic shot of planet falling apart, but during
production I changed my mind and incorporated atomic structure pattern, alien cities structures and so on and it ended up as a illustration again, hope you don't mind
and you're going to like it:)

Awesome Lukas. You achieved a unique image of the planet which could be also a super magnified view of an atom :) The Styx image is pretty disturbing but well done! If I was to give any advice I'd say to darken the foreground a bit.

Hello Jacek, thank you a lot for your nice comment. You know, as self-taught I appreciate any kind of feedback. From a little bit distance Id change more things at Styx illustration and I definitely agree about foreground. Btw. I really dig your King Kong matte-painting a lot;)

Hello guys, Im back with some new stuff. This 4,5x1,5k illustration / mattepainting
was used as almost all my works for an CD packaging. Brief was to create dark
abandoned plain full of burning crosses expressing daily sacrifice we all have to pass
trough every day. I started with 3d blocking, than friend of mine Pavel Cucka helped
me out with enviroment design creation and after incorporating photoshooted
elements I continued with heavy postproduction in Photoshop. I hope you're going
to like it.

Hey guys, its been a long time I posted something here. So Im back with new stuff,
maybe not the best ever, but.. :) Btw. its again CD packaging so its always reason
of some realism issues (like f.i. 2 main light sources). Anyway hope youre going to
like it and any C&C are welcome;)
