I started to "paint" this evening, so here is my first wip.
Used photoreferences from environment-textures.com, and they are great.

Finally done some progress. I'm attaching the second wip. Still wondering about the horizon, and it's back part. So far I'm not sure what to create there. I like this variant, it's nice, but I'm afraid not so much logical.
This is my first serious experience with cloudscape, and I found it very interesting to work on.

A lot of fun on this matte. Hope you like it.

I really love the flow of the clouds you created for the sort of vortex' at the bottom!

Another update. I've played with mood a little. I tried dark version, but it was not too good. Attaching a thumbnail of it.

I wanted create overall paint layer over textures first, but this was too interesting. :)
Paintover as next step.

I believe, fog lying on the bottom, with some sunbeams in itself could be interesting. But also tricky.

Some texture cleaning and experiments. I want respect the concept a little bit more, so there is darker version again.

Hi all,
attaching pre-final. There is still some work, mainly on details.

I've redone BG because of grain in textures and moved star down, because of cropped version.
I just tried to flip the Space vertically, and it created another cool variant, which I like maybe more than the original one :) (image at the bottom).

Still not sure about big clouds in BG.
